Sunshine Blogger Award

Thank you so much to fetinawinkle for the nomination! Please check out her blog as it is absolutely amazing. She has lots of creative stories and a wonderful way with words (does that count as a pun, when I use alliteration when talking about writing style?).

Questions:

1. What would you ask for, if you knew the answer would be a Yes?

This is tough… Probably a Dymocks voucher with unlimited money on it… or ice cream! Or world peace (is that possible?)

2.Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say?

Only if it is an important phone call where I have to conduct an interview (per say), otherwise I am a more ‘go with the flow’ type of person.

3.Invent your own word, what does it mean?

This is hard! I have such a way with words that I could write an entire dictionary (totally)! I’d probably make the backwards version of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious a real word (do I really have to spell that out?) – meaning: horrible; extraordinarily bad. Just because I’d love to hear people trying to say it 😂.

4.Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

I would clone myself and take me! no. I don’t really know who’d I take…Probably a really good friend (I might have to force them along, but still 😉) or one of my favourite youtubers.

5.What would you rate 10/10?

My life, and how fortunate I am. I get to do so many things, tell amazing puns and start a blog ( to name a few ). This isn’t an opportunity that lots of people get. And although there are lots of sad moments, there are the happy ones too, and I wouldn’t change this for anything.

6.What question can you ask to find out the most about a person?

I have two questions (I’m being a little bit of a rebel here): ‘What’s something that no one would guess about you?’ and ‘What’s the most important thing to you?’. I feel like these are really insightful things that you can’t just see from what they’re wearing or how they act (ok, you could sort of tell from the way they act).

7.What would be the title of the current chapter of your life?

‘I am very punny. No, I am hilarious.’ I think that sums up how I feel when I write a blog post, and since I’m doing that now…

8.If you could make a 20-second phone call to yourself at any point in your life at present or future, When would you call and what would you say?

I’d make a phone call to the past, and say ‘don’t take things for granted’. I know that’s a cliché thing to say, but unfortunately I have taken so many things for granted that I wished I had appreciated, and it haunts me (I guess).

9.What’s something that happened or something that someone said, changed how you view the world?

One of my family members got really sick, and it made me really appreciate them (lot’s of appreciation in this post 🙂), and enjoy all the time I do have with my family. As they won’t be around forever (becuse I haven’t been able to find a philosopher’s stone. yet.).

10.What book impacted you the most and why?

I can’t really tell which book impacted me the most (there were too many 😂), but ‘When We Wake by Karen Healey’ really impacted me and said “hey, if you don’t care for this world, it won’t be here forever.” So now, I take special care to make sure lights are off around the house and  I recycle things (with more purpose). It’s little, but it makes a difference.

11. If life is a game like some people say what would some of your rules be?

• No war. I think that’s pretty self explanatory why I’d want that.
• No cheating death (I’m looking at you Voldemort), because that only causes magical wars.
• And, there is to be no unwarranted hate, because what is the point?

I only included three, because otherwise this list would go on forever (maybe not forever, I like freedom as much as the next person 😁)
